The Denon AVR-X1800H AV receiver is a new generation model and is equipped with a good set of functions. The device has a 7.2 configuration with seven built-in power amplifiers. The Denon AVR-X1800H is equipped with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoders, and on its basis it is possible to create a 5.2.2-channel surround sound system. In addition, the AV receiver is capable of generating virtual height channels for systems that do not have appropriate acoustics, or adding volume to audio tracks recorded in conventional Dolby and DTS formats. DTS:X immersive audio content places sound where it naturally occurs in space, creating lifelike, multi-dimensional audio. DTS Neural:X upmixer offers enhanced immersion and increased realism for legacy content. DTS Virtual:X delivers immersive audio without height channels, creating virtual height effects in a 7.1, 5.1 or 2.1 speaker configuration.

For convenient calibration of system sound depending on listening conditions, the AV receiver features Audyssey MultEQ XT technology. Using the included measurement microphone, the system analyzes the sound at several control points in the room, and then adjusts the sound so that it is as balanced and uniform as possible.

Denon AVR-X1800H is equipped with six HDMI inputs and one output, with support for HDCP2.3 data encryption. The model supports video transmission with a resolution of up to 8K, and also has the function of scaling the signals received at the HDMI inputs to this standard. Supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), as well as Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ pass-through. HLG offers HDR technology on top of broadcast content. Both Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ use dynamic metadata to optimize shadows and highlights as the frame changes. The Denon AVR-X1800H features Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Quick Frame Transfer (QFT) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for smooth, lag-free gaming when connected to compatible gaming devices.

Thus, Denon AVR-X1800H can be used in AV systems after they are upgraded. Video features HDR10+ high dynamic range transmission, and the audio return channel is an enhanced version of eARC. The model has a good set of additional functions. First of all, it is worth noting the support for audio streaming, including in High resolution formats. The device can work with Tidal, Deezer and others services, as well as play music from local sources.

Connection to the network is possible via cable or Wi-Fi. Another wireless technology in the Denon AVR-X1800H is Bluetooth, which works not only for reception, but also for transmission, to broadcast the signal to compatible headphones. The multi-room functions in the AV receiver are represented by proprietary HEOS technology, which allows it to be included in compatible systems. The Denon AVR-X1800H also supports voice control systems.
