The flagship CD player Roksan Blak CD Player is part of the top brand line and allows you to fully unlock the potential inherent in the CD format. The components of this line harmoniously combine exquisite design, high build quality, thoughtful technical solutions and excellent sound. The CD player has a reinforced chassis and an improved drive, suspended on dampers. In the digital path, measures have been taken to reduce jitter (obviously, reclocking) – its value does not exceed 125 picoseconds.
Roksan Blak CD Player is equipped with a high-precision CD drive, the mechanism of which is isolated from the body using special dampers in order to minimize the influence of vibrations, resonances and eliminate errors during the disc reading process. The loading tray is located in the center of a large smoked acrylic window, the top of which covers a display with large yellow characters. On the right are large metal buttons for controlling playback. It supports reading both regular CD-DA and CD-R/RW discs.
The Roksan Blak CD Player model has an elegant, laconic design and uses high-quality components in its circuits. The front panel protrudes slightly beyond the body and has an LED display built into its center with fairly large symbols and the ability to adjust the brightness. The drive tray is located directly below the display and is framed by a special acrylic insert, and the power switch is located in a somewhat unusual place – under the bezel on the bottom of the chassis. To control the player, use a convenient universal remote control, which allows you to issue commands to other Roksan audio components – an amplifier, an external DAC or a streamer. The analog signal is output to RCA and XLR line outputs, and the digital signal is output to coaxial, optical and balanced AES/EBU.
Roksan Blak CD Player has a natural, refined sound with a warm tone, excellent musicality, deep stage and careful attention to fine details. The player will make an excellent tandem with the Roksan Blak Integrated Amplifier of the same name from the same series. Blak components are made extremely carefully, look solid and not flashy thanks to the tasteful color scheme. They are produced in our own factory located in the suburbs of London.
