In the world of headphone amplifiers, there’s no doubt that amplifiers based on the THX architecture have made great strides, with the Drop THX AAA 789, SMSL SP200 and Monoprice Monolith receiving rave reviews from all corners of the Internet. And now it looks like FiiO, one of the most renowned DAC/amp manufacturers on the market, is following suit with the release of the FiiO K7 .

Features
THX’s AAA architecture means the K7 will deliver an extremely clean signal with high output power, just like other recently released THX amplifiers.

It will have 4-pin XLR and 4.4mm balanced outputs and a 1/4-inch single-ended amplifier output. It will also have dual outputs and XLR and RCA inputs.

In addition, thanks to the presence of SPDIF, coaxial and USB-C inputs, the K7 will be quite versatile in choosing signal sources. And with support for 768k and DSD512 files, it’s also capable of handling quite a variety of material. FiiO also mentioned a Bluetooth LDAC receiver and app control, which would be an interesting feature.
